1. Students must always carry their almanac to school.
2. Students are required to carry their identity cards daily to school.
3. It is mandatory to carry the class pass when going out of the class.
4. Lending or borrowing money and other articles is not permitted.
5. The school will not be responsible for any goods lost. Students are advised bring valuables like expensive watches and electronic devices to school.
6. Safety norms must be practiced by all students using the school bus. Buses are extension of school and students must observe the code of conduct during fro time. Drivers are in charge of buses and while on duty, can report any misconduct on the part of students.
7. Students should obey house prefects, class monitors and other students on duty.
8. Students should attend school in proper uniform.
9. Students are not allowed to leave the school during working hours, unless the authorized person, whose signatures are on the first page of the almanac comes in person to make the request.
10. During school hours, we do not allow the parents to take the child home unless it is very urgent. In that case, a written permission from the coordinator would be essential.
11. Students should submit the application for leave a day in advance.
12. The parents need not send them to school if they want them to avail short leave.
14. Students should not indulge in destructive (ungainly) activities. Any loss or damage caused to the school property will have to be made good by the student(s) responsible.
15. The school possesses the right to take severe action including striking the student off the rolls if found guilty of misconduct.
16. Mobile phones, i-pods, or any other electronic gadgets would be confiscated and returned only when the student passes out of the school.
GUIDELINES FOR PARENTS
Parent teacher co-operation is essential for complete and harmonious development of the students' personality. The process of informal education is set in motion at birth and gains momentum in the school, a centre of formal education. To bring out the best in the child, family influences should aid and supplement school effort. Both school and family should help the child inculcate in him/her the desirable behaviour patterns, healthy habits and positive attitude in personal and social life to make him/her a pride of family and an asset to the society.
Constant vigilance on the part of the guardians pay rich dividends. Please read the following points in the interest of your ward:
a) This Almanac should be used as a means of communication with the school. Parents should check the remarks, if any, made by the teachers and also write their observations / concerns in the allocated pages. Please ensure that the Almanac is seen & countersigned regularly.
b) Please see that your ward has all the text books, items of stationery, craft material, dictionary etc before he/she comes to the school.
c) Please see to it that your ward reaches school on time. Also ensure that your ward comes to the school in proper school uniform.
d) Absence from the school even for a day should be a matter of concern. The guardians should impress upon their wards that they should not miss school unless it is unavoidable.
e) Please ensure that the child has a time table at home and that he/she follows it.
f) The composite fee is to be deposited quarterly i.e. in the months of April, July. October and January and in case of any difficulty the fee can also be deposited monthly.
g) In case of withdrawal of the student due to any reason, application is to be submitted for the same latest by 10 March.
h) Kindly note that giving one month's notice is mandatory for withdrawal of transport facility. This will, however, be acceptable upto 31st August only and no withdrawal applications will be entertained thereafter.
i) Parents, sending their wards to school under own arrangements, i.e. not using school transport are requested to ensure the safety of their wards during commute to and from the school and to keep a record of Vehicle Owner, Vehicle Driver's phone numbers. They should also ensure that the driver has a valid license and required experience. It is entirely the responsibility of the parents, if the child travels by any private mode.
j) Parents are requested to kindly ensure that their wards do not drive any vehicle to the school as underage driving is against the law.
k) During the school hours parents/guardians are not allowed to take the child home early unless it is very urgent. In that case parents have to come personally to take the child from the school and report at the reception.
l) In case somebody else other than the parents comes to pick up the child, he/ she should carry a written application from the parents.
m) For the school to handle emergencies successfully, maintaining communication with parents and updating student data is very essential. Hence parents are requested to notify the change of address, Telephone Number and the email ID's to the school authorities at the earliest.
