Jaypee Public School Samirpur Conducts Disaster Management Mock Drill
To mark Disaster Management Day, Jaypee Public School, Samirpur, organized a comprehensive mock drill, equipping students with essential emergency response skills. The drill focused on earthquake preparedness, teaching students to "Drop, Cover, and Hold On" during tremors, along with techniques to manage panic and ensure safety during crises.
The session was led by Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, retired honorary captain and Security Incharge of Jaypee Seva Sansthan Samirpur, with assistance from Mr. Susheel Kumar (Sports Teacher) and Mr. Kushal Kumar (Karate Teacher). Their guidance provided students with valuable, hands-on learning.
Principal Mr. Gaurav Sharma addressed the students and emphasized the importance of disaster readiness in everyday life. The event highlighted the school’s commitment to safety, awareness, and proactive learning.
